Hollow-art.com started out small, an idea between friends that enjoyed provide a place where people could come to get good quality icons for use on livejournal.com. Our original community was on livejournal.com and much to our surprise it got popular very quickly. By the time the decision was taken to move off of livejournal, our little startup had over 1,000 members and was growing daily.

Hollow-art.com is an expansion of that initial idea, but it also allows us to bring you so much more! As well as being able to still bring you the quality base sets for which Hollow-art was originally known, we're also now able to bring you Livejournal layouts, Livejournal mood themes, banners and many more features! Our Livejournal layouts and Livejournal mood themes also come with installation instructions to help you on your way!

Here at Hollow-Art.com we provide an archive of basic icons and artwork for journaling sites, forums, posting boards, personal blogs or websites, etc. The subject matter is people and subjects we find interesting, or people who have been requested ie actors, models, musicians, characters from movies, television shows as well as artistic stock imagery, etc.

We've also made it even easier to find the perfect character for those role-players amongst you looking for a PB or face for representation. Our search function allows you to list various attributes, thus enabling you to search several tag types at once!

In the future we will also expand even further and will be bringing you Hollow-Art Resources where you will be able to find textures, photoshop brushes, photoshop patterns and much more. You will also be able to get tutorials, both from us here at Hollow-art and also upload your own!
