After having gone missing for decades, the phantom thief Kaito Kid is back and his heists have become more spectacular than ever! Of course, that’s all in civilians minds. The police force has found the phantom thief to be troublesome, as no one can catch him and he seems to enjoy making a mockery out of them! It also doesn’t help that this seems to be a favorite topic in the media, save for the high school detectives that have been aiding the police lately.
Kudo Shinichi is said to be the modern day Sherlock Holmes, and solving cases has become his lifestyle choice. He’s even being called the “pride of the police force” and Inspector Megure seems to enjoy it when he’s out there solving cases. But when Shinichi visits Tropical Land while on a date with his childhood sweetheart, Mouri Ran, he finds himself involved in a blackmailing case shortly after a murder was committed. The case, involving the malicious Black Organization was completed as before Shinichi could do anything, he was discovered by the mobsters that go under the codenames of Gin and Vodka. He’s force-fed an experimental poison called the APTX-4869, and he becomes unconscious! When he wakes up, he finds himself to no longer be in the body of a high school student, but in the body of an elementary school student!
He’s forced to live with Mouri Ran and her father, Mouri Kogoro, an incompetent detective, under the pseudonym of Edogawa Conan. Thanks to his help though, Ran’s father has become a renowned detective, and with each case solved its one step closer to the organization that shrunk his body! Not to mention, under this pseudonym he seems to find himself battling against Kaito Kid and solving his own cases alongside the Detective Boys group.
With Kaito Kid and the Black Organization secretly lurking in the shadows, Japan is no longer safe. Kaito Kid may not be a threat or intend on harming civilians, but the Black Organization certainly does intend to. Their organization is global, and barely anyone knows about them! Well, save for the FBI and CIA. They’re aiming to infiltrate and destroy the organization from the inside, but it sure doesn’t help that civilians and the Japanese police are unaware that this is all happening. Not to mention, with them as a threat now, there might come a time where YOU might find yourself dead the next day.
It’s simple, really. Live your life as you normally would, and make sure that you remain cautious of those dressed in black with coldblooded personalities. But the number one rule here? Don’t dial the number that resembles Nanatsu no Ko on your phone. It might lead to the end of you!
From murder cases to everyday living, MYSTERIOUS is a play-by-post intermediate to advance Detective Conan and Magic Kaito RPG where no knowledge is required to participate. We accept canons and originals, and we use the basic storyline of both series as our storyline and we are completely character and player driven. Plots, murders and events are created by our members, and there’s room for characters of any age, occupation, nationality and allegiance here. Celebrities are used as our face claims instead of animated, but they are not mandatory. We do however; require a minimum word count of 250 words per post. We’re also self-hosted, using MyBB (an almost exact equivalent to Invisionfree) as our forum provider and we have an informative website to host our game information. But in a game that revolves around Sherlock Holmes styled murder cases, do you think you can survive?

William McKinley High School. In 1993, the Glee Club had just won Nationals. They had the world at their feet. They ruled the school. They couldn't have been considered cooler.
But now, it's 2010 and though they've won Sectionals, .it's been a long time since the Glee Club was considered anything close to "cool." Now they're the bottom of the heap, the misfits of the school. No one has faith in them at all...but one man: Spanish teacher, Will Schuester. He basked in the glow of the '93 Glee Club and wants to return it to its former glory. Unfortunately, there are dark forces plotting against this grand scheme...namely, cheerleaders. Will the "gleeks" triumph or crash and burn? Only time will tell...
New Directions is the oldest Glee RPG on IJ and has been open for play since September. We've still got some canon characters open, and also accept OCs (students, teachers, anything that you can think of to fit in the setting.) The application is fairly simple. We're a friendly, active group and hope to find more people to join the fun!

Ever feel like the world's just got you down? That it's bigger than you really think? That there really might be blood-thirsty monsters on your tail? That those teachers just don't understand that you can ace a mythology test but still fail English? Well, kid, you're in the right place. Welcome to Cabin Eleven, a 'dressing room' style RP for Percy Jackson & the Olympians. Named after the infamously welcoming summer habitat of Hermes' half-blood offspring, the community is intended for those who don't want to have to deal with the stress of activity checks, taken-character lists, or application processes (though we're not stopping you). Here at Camp Half-Blood we don't sort you with any silly singing hat, you sort yourselves (because lets face it--your parents might not be up to it). We accept both book and film canons, the various greek deities, and canon!original characters. Feel free to use the community as a springboard for new characters, or even a crack-filled free-for-all. We're pretty chill here. Just please keep in mind that not only are some characters going to be pulled in from other games, but that we may have several mirrors--which is most of the fun of it! Also, while we're pretty accepting here in Cabin Eleven of all sorts of various shenanigans, keep all that lovey-dovey stuff in Cabin Ten. They're better at dealing with the mess of broken hearts. We’ve got ourselves a little Apocalypse problem.
Every hunter is needed and some are banding together, others prefer doing things the way they always have, on their own. Some blame the Winchesters for all this, others don’t. Regardless, the end of the world must be stopped and all the usual supernatural nasties are still out there killing people.
This “Supernatural” based game takes place after the Season five episode “Changing Channels". It will go AU from there as we play. The players will face all those evil things, monsters, ghosts, demons… and have to try and stop Lucifer at the same time. You’ll make friends, and enemies. You’ll have to decide who you can trust, who you have to watch out for, and who wants to kill you on sight.
Oh, and you’ll have to figure out what evil you’re dealing with and how to stop them. Hints and options will be provided by the Mods, but sometimes the information will be wrong, like any research. Your encouraged to do your own research as well. It’s a game and a learning experience. If you’re characters are hunters you will NOT be all one large group descending on one spot, you’ll be spread out in different cities on different cases, but connected through a new Hunter’s Central protected website and chat. Those willing to make an army to fight Lucifer and his crew will occasionally gather together for battle as one big team. You will also meet up with others throughout the game to keep interacting with one another.
The Colt has not been found. Nor do you know if it will work in this game’s reality. It’s anyone’s guess. (actually a literal flip of the coin if that confrontation occurs in game.) There may be other weapons discovered, and knowledge is a weapon as well.
Do you think you have what it takes?

After riding home on the dirigible from the Oasis of Ahm Shere after the defeat of Mathayus the Scorpion King, the O’Connell’s were capable of settling down back at their large mansion in London. Young Alex O’Connell returned to his studies, Evelyn decided to take on the Bembridge Scholar’s offer and became head curator of the British Museum, and Rick decided to enjoy the time off from fighting the undead. It seemed as though things were going smoothly for the O’Connell’s until one fateful evening when Ardeth Bey walked upon their doorstep. It was Rick who opened the door that evening, and much to his dismay, he received unfavorable knowledge as the bearer of bad news entered his household. As Ardeth told the tale of the Amulets of Karawan, which were capable of leading the world to its undoing, Rick knew his assumptions were right.
The legend told began back in Ancient Egypt, where Pharaoh Seti I requested two powerful amulets to be made by the Egyptian God, Set. It was not only to ensure his own protection, but his family’s as well. Set accepted Seti’s request and he required nothing in return. Upon the amulets completion, they were bestowed upon the pharaoh by a servant of Set. The first amulet to be presented was the Amulet of Khaldun, which took on the form of a necklace that represented the Ka symbol of life force. It had the power to grant immortality and invulnerability. The second amulet to be bestowed upon the pharaoh was the Amulet of Setesh, and it took on the form of a Was scepter. It had the powers of time travel. Seti I had accepted them, but as word was released that there were godly items in Egypt’s territory, armies formed throughout the known world in order to conquer the amulets. Little did Seti I know that this was all Set’s original intention. Upon decision due to the anarchy that it caused, Seti I decided to activate an ability of the Amulet of Setesh, and by placing both amulets beside one another, he granted the amulets ability to transport themselves into a timeframe of its choosing. They were soon transported to the Year of the Scorpion, 1933. With this ability activated, the Amulet of Setesh was capable of traveling throughout the world, but it was incapable of returning to the same location a second time unless it was its country of origin.
Another tale was told as Ardeth revealed more information on Imhotep’s priests. Although they were mummified alive, their descendants were still living today as an enemy Bedouin clan known as the Djed. Unknowingly to the Medjai however, the chieftain of the Djed was none other than the reincarnation of Pharaoh Seti I under a new alias and persona. Recalling little information about his past life, the reincarnated pharaoh had been leading the Djed through Hamunaptra’s grounds in order to retrieve the Amulet of Khaldun. They successfully completed this mission. Using a copy of the Book of the Dead, Seti I sought a second mission, and that was the resurrection of Imhotep and Anck-su-namun. With the Book of the Dead in hand, he completed this task successfully as well. He presented the Amulet of Khaldun to Anck-su-namun in order for her to not be harmed due to her mummified form. But unknowingly to the pharaoh, an elder of the Djed had spoken covertly with the two resurrected mummies, and advised them to ask as his once faithful courtiers as he was unaware of their treason.
As this phenomenon occurred, the O’Connell’s had no knowledge that the Amulet of Khaldun was obtained by the Djed; furthermore, they left London soon after. With the O’Connell’s now on the move and the Djed now after the Amulet of Setesh, this journey has yet to be written, let alone the destination. What becomes of this tale is left up to you as you decide your fate, your side, as well as the fate of the world!
WHAT WE OFFER:
Absit Omen has been open
for one year!
Come join us!
Double, double toil and trouble;
Dark omens loom on the horizon. Some say they’re already here. Since May of 2008, the Wizarding World has suffered its fair share of hardships: two murders at the Battle of Hogwarts memorial, poison finding its way into the veins of important officials, and the most recent assassination of the Head of Magical Law Enforcement!
Fire burn, and cauldron bubble.
The blood purity group behind these latest terrorist acts is still growing, and the omens don’t just affect the wizarding world. At Hogwarts, too, the ambitious new Headmistress is eager to test out her new weapon, even if it means using her students as test subjects. A werewolf is discovered and expelled, bringing the werewolf rights debate to a boiling point. And a professor’s penchant for Ancient Egyptian artifacts could mean danger for them all.
Double, double toil and trouble
Will the Headmistress's weapon be successful, or will it be discovered before fruition? Will the student werewolf support group regain their reputation and put an end to the discrimination of werewolves, or will they unintentionally start a war? What will the future truly hold? No one knows. All they can do is keep their heads held high, eyes forward and a silent prayer on their lips: "Absit Omen: Let there be no evil here."
Something wicked this way comes...
