It's a new year at McKinley High. Fresh from their embarrassing loss at Regionals, the Glee Club was miraculously granted another year. One last chance to prove themselves. They have to make this one count. Will they be able to do it? Now that they've lost, how has it affected them? Now that Quinn finally gave birth and gave baby Beth up for adoption, how will this change her? What's in store for Finn and Rachel now that he told her he loved her? Will Puck stay true to Quinn after admitting he loved her? How far will Coach Sylvester go to ruin the Glee Club she secretly saved?

Now's your chance to be part of the magic. Canons and OC's welcome. However, if you have an Original Character, we do expect a fairly detailed backstory. If your character is to be connected and/or related to any of the other canon characters, we do ask you contact the player of the character and discuss this with them first.

What happens next in the halls of William McKinley High? Well, that, my friends is up to you!

The school of Lowood in the tiny town of Castalian Springs is an intensely private school hidden away near the West Coast. However, what appears to be simply a high-class boarding school is much more than that. There is something unusual about the students and staff of this school—each of them is the reincarnated soul of a long-dead author. There's more to the game than this, though; for some time literary apparitions have been appearing in the Springs, in the form of characters, places, and items straight from the original stories of these authors. As the fictional world collides with the real world, the students of Lowood are required to divide their time between sorting out their relationship status, avoiding the teeth of Dracula, and finishing their homework assignments on time. This RPG is well-established and has a lively community of friendly players—and talented writers to boot. Play is most frequently done through IM, and the game has plenty of room for your own plot ideas and development with literary apparitions. William McKinley High School. In 1993, the Glee Club had just won Nationals. They had the world at their feet. They ruled the school. They couldn't have been considered cooler.

But now, it's 2010 and though they've won Sectionals, .it's been a long time since the Glee Club was considered anything close to "cool." Now they're the bottom of the heap, the misfits of the school. No one has faith in them at all...but one man: Spanish teacher, Will Schuester. He basked in the glow of the '93 Glee Club and wants to return it to its former glory. Unfortunately, there are dark forces plotting against this grand scheme...namely, cheerleaders. Will the "gleeks" triumph or crash and burn? Only time will tell...

By its very definition, Glee is about opening yourself up to joy.

New Directions is the oldest Glee RPG on IJ and has been open for play since September. We've still got some canon characters open, and also accept OCs (students, teachers, anything that you can think of to fit in the setting.) The application is fairly simple. We're a friendly, active group and hope to find more people to join the fun!

Premise:
It's 1976 and Voldemort's reach is everywhere, even within the walls of Hogwarts. As a new term starts, Bellatrix Lestrange takes up the role of "Defence Against" the Dark Arts professor, working as a spy and recruiter for the Death Eaters. But the students of Hogwarts have their own problems to deal with...

Ad-free, PurebloodsOnly.com is a new partially alternate universe game with many canon characters still available, including Sirius Black, Severus Snape, and Lily Evans. Original characters are also encouraged!

The story so far...
Defence Against the Dark Arts professor Thaddeus Cattermoul was found dead in his home over the summer, a Death Eater attack that made more headlines than most because Cattermoul was a pure-blood.

Conveniently ready to take his place, Bellatrix Lestrange quickly steps into the role although teaching is the last thing on her mind. Voldemort has specifically assigned her the job of infiltrating the school, removing her Dark Mark so her true allegiance can't be discovered.

Although there is wide public speculation about who the Death Eaters could be, no one knows who they are for certain and, while Professor McGonagall has her doubts about Bellatrix, Dumbledore has put his faith in her. And Dumbledore usually knows best. Doesn't he?

Double, double toil and trouble;

Dark omens loom on the horizon. Some say they’re already here. Since May of 2008, the Wizarding World has suffered its fair share of hardships: two murders at the Battle of Hogwarts memorial, poison finding its way into the veins of important officials, and the most recent assassination of the Head of Magical Law Enforcement!

Fire burn, and cauldron bubble.

The blood purity group behind these latest terrorist acts is still growing, and the omens don’t just affect the wizarding world. At Hogwarts, too, the ambitious new Headmistress is eager to test out her new weapon, even if it means using her students as test subjects. A werewolf is discovered and expelled, bringing the werewolf rights debate to a boiling point. And a professor’s penchant for Ancient Egyptian artifacts could mean danger for them all.

Double, double toil and trouble

Will the Headmistress's weapon be successful, or will it be discovered before fruition? Will the student werewolf support group regain their reputation and put an end to the discrimination of werewolves, or will they unintentionally start a war? What will the future truly hold? No one knows. All they can do is keep their heads held high, eyes forward and a silent prayer on their lips: "Absit Omen: Let there be no evil here."

On October 31st, 1999, a group of eco-terrorists released a biological weapon at every major airport in the world. The first level of infection was direct inhalation within 100 yards. The infected become sick with flu-like symptoms. 48 hours later, the true nature of the weapon became clear. The infected became violent, infecting others through bites and scratches. 50 hours after the first contagion was released, governments across the globe initiated states of emergency. Sites were designated as shelters with troops and Aurors sent to protect those sites at all costs.

Radio broadcasts gave the locations of the Ministry of Magic and Buckingham Palace as 'safe spots' but they were really processing centers screening out the infected and sending the uninfected via the Floo network to hidden shelters. Those lucky enough to find shelter must now wait it out – the 28 long days for the infected to starve to death or kill each other in their madness. Then they will have the unenviable task of rebuilding society and the world.

Plus 28 Days is a Post DH HP-based Panfandom RPG beginning on October 31st, 2009.

It's been six years since the fall of Voldemort.

The wizarding world has returned to a somewhat normal equilibrium.

Those involved in the Second War have breathed a sigh of releif in hopes of better times ahead.

However, a group is on the horizon that is much quieter, and much more sinister,

than Voldemort and his Death Eaters.

Will the wizarding world be able to band together again and fight the desk dark uprising?

Caliga Ortus is a secure, well established Harry Potter based RPG that has been running for more than a year. The players are friendly and the game ie very active with openings for key players, as well as original chracters with compelling auditions and well thought-out considerations. New players are welcomed! The storyline is wide open for new plot arcs, as well as the formation of solo or group plot!
