    Homecoming: War of the Demigods
    A multi-fandom RPG of mythology

    The History

    If the gods have ever been known as one thing, it is fickle. Fickle in favor, fickle in tastes… Fickle in love. For years beyond time may tell, the gods have moved from mortal love to mortal love, with nary a thought of the consequences, and often without a care for immortal partners. Thus, in ancient times, under the rule of the gods, it was not unknown to hear tell of strange pregnancies that gave birth to extraordinary individuals; children of gods and mortals who possessed astonishing powers and could commit amazing feats. These children were known as demigods, and stories were told, songs were sung, of their deeds.

    Then everything changed.

    The people were slow to notice. After all, they had many songs to sing, many stories to tell, and these demigods, these great heroes, were proof of the gods’ favor. Years passed, and as the very nature of the half god was a mortal one, heroes began to die. It was not until the last demigod passed into the underworld that anyone realized that no more had been born to the world. The dalliances of the gods continued, yet those whom became pregnant mysteriously disappeared.

    The people began to lose faith.

    Years, centuries, millennia have passed since those times when mankind still worshiped the gods. Humanity has evolved far past such arcane beliefs; the gods have been resigned to naught but mythology and legend. The old arts of magic are long forgotten, and instead science leads the way into a new era, and era which will change everything. For science… Science has rediscovered the oldest of myths.

    Science reaches beyond the mortal realm, beyond the limited scope of mankind’s own sight, and touches the eternal. And in this rush of discovery, of newfound knowledge of old truths about the gods, something else has returned as well.

    The demigods have come home.
    The Return

    Zeus, king of the gods, has always been a jealous god. It was upon his order, an order made out of fear, that demigods, children born of god and mortal, were gathered upon birth and sent away. Zeus feared for his power, feared what might happen to the gods if the demigods rebelled against them; this was why he had these children scattered among many, many different worlds than the earth he and the gods ruled. They were sent far, far away, given to these different worlds with no knowledge of who, or what, they were.

    Now, it is by Zeus’ order that these same demigods are being gathered upon earth once more. He has sent Hermes, messenger of the gods, to gather them, to bring them home, for their power is needed. There is war being made upon the gods, by the very mortals who once worshipped them, and Zeus knows that it might well be the power of the demigods that will win the battle against the technology the mortals wield.
    The Game Mechanics

    Homecoming: War of the Demigods is a multi-fandom game that accepts original characters, and has its roots in Greek mythology. Playable in-game characters are demigods- individuals with one mortal parent and one god parent- that have been sent to another world to grow up and are now being recalled to earth, as well as mythological intelligent creatures in the gods’ employ.

    Demigod characters should be completely oblivious about their heritage until they are contacted by Hermes and taken back to earth. Once on earth, demigods will have the choice of staying in the homes provided for them upon Olympus, or if they are daring, they may make an escape to the mortal realm. Whichever way they choose, it will soon become obvious that the mortals making war on the gods are doing so in a bid for power, and in an attempt to prove that they can best the gods.

    On January of 2009, hundred years prior to the storyline, there was a worldwide pulse that triggered a domino effect of destruction. A massive majority of the human population dropped dead almost instantly from the pulse, the rest left in a state of confusion and fear. Soon thereafter the dead rose again, now turned into a living nightmare — zombies. For two years what remained of the world tried to start over, with the assistance of what people believed was a beneficial organization. After two years of losing the battle against the zombies, however, the organization took drastic action.

    On January 20, 2011, atomic bombs were dropped worldwide. It was a nuclear war, like the kind everyone had always feared about in those times, and things ended up just as bad as everyone had always imagined. The bombs were dropped in hopes that it would cease the movements of the undead, but it ended up doing exactly the opposite. It drove humanity itself onto the brink of extinction, and supercharged the infected turning them from undead superpowers to real monsters from the black abyss of nightmares. Needless to say, the organization was done for.

    A small group of society managed to open a tunnel way in Ireland, a system of tunnels they worked on for safety precautions that ended up being the salvation of the last bits of humanity. Word was sent out over scattered signals as best as could be done, and people were drawn to safety in the underground location. A new society was formed, and from that day onward humanity had officially begun its own rebirth.

    Condemnations is an original, PB-based RP game now taking place in a post-apocalyptic society! There are zombies, monsters, and people with special abilities.     Entanglement is a panfandom livejournal roleplay where the player characters are swept into the cloak and dagger world of interdimensional politics. We accept characters from almost any kind of canon, as well as original characters.

    The theme of this roleplay is multidimensional space opera, with heavy doses of intrigue, philosophy and dark humor and a dash of action to taste. In this game, your ability to write an interesting character is far more important than how powerful they are.

    Based after Breaking Dawn, the Cullen's are still residing in Forks, Washington. The family have been attending Forks University along with many other new (and fairly unique) vampires, though With Bella as a vampire, Renesmee at six months though resembling a seventeen year old girl and their coven expanding before the towns eyes, it's no wonder the Volturi have been keeping such a close eye on the family. Just waiting for ways and reasons to take any one of them out of the world, or at the very least, add to their ever growing group of guards.

    Since Renesmee's birth and Bella's change from the typical human life over to the dream of being an immortal she always had, the wolf packs (still divided into two separate groups) have since put aside their differences with the Cullen's. They still do not appreciate the bloodsuckerson their lands, though make exceptions quite frequently for their new found friends and close allies.

    We are currently looking for countless canon characters, and also accept original characters as well as crossover characters from other films, television shows and even books.

    A long time ago, the ancient gods decided to remedy an overcrowded Earth. They picked a new galaxy, one with plenty of room for all, and planets specialized for each being under their rule. Everyone had plenty of room to go about their businesses for thousands of years, blissfully unaware of the others on their planets.

    Except for the Humans.

    Always changing, evolving, learning new things, the Human population evolved much like their counterparts left on Earth. In a mere couple thousand years, they had covered almost their entire planet in cities, which soon merged into one planet-wide city. Their technologies could only sustain their needs for so long, and soon they had discovered their way into space flight, set on finding new planets to sustain their resources.

    It was then that they realized they were not alone in the galaxy, and each planet they encountered had more new and exciting other sentient beings they thought had only existed in myth. Many of the beings welcomed them to their planets, trading resources and technologies, happy for brand new commerce, while others were not as receptive to the Humans arrivals on their planets. Some disdained them, and others hungered for their blood. The humans themselves had mixed reactions, as they often do. Sects of anti-Non-Humans rose up as other species began arriving on the Human home world. Others sought to use them to gain access to taking over their planets for themselves. While others embraced many of the new creatures, eager to learn from them, eager to make lasting friends.

    The Crowded Hour

    Your journey began with the arrival of a mysterious ticket...

    ...that beckoned to your heart's deepest desire. You were personally escorted by helicopter to the lush landscape of a beautiful 11th century castle. But nothing is quite as you expected. Is it ever? You soon meet others who tell similar stories of broken promises, but now the helicopter is long gone and they say there's no way out. To make matters wors--more interesting, it looks like this castle is shaping up to be more than it seems. Yesterday someone told you you can go, but you can never leave. You thought they were crazy, but not anymore. The dawn of time? Thousands of years into the future? It's all possible with a neat little row of shiny red buttons. This castle has a rich history, and you're about to live it. If galavanting around time isn't for you, maybe you'd rather play in at an old fashioned battle between good and evil. And if not, maybe you shouldn't have accepted that ticket after all.
