That's for sure. Play a character of any age, attending one of our three amazing wizarding schools. Not interested in playing a character at Hogwart's age? That's cool! Younger children can attend St Andrew's Magical & Muggle Primary - or if you like to go older, study a wizarding degree at the Victoria Magical University. Students between 11 and 17 can attend Tallygarunga Academy of Magic - Australia's very own answer to Hogwarts. And if students aren't your style, we're accepting teachers and professors for all three. Never thought you'd teach Cruel & Unusual Geography? Think again!

From the streets of quiet Narragyambie, to the bustling city of Melbourne - we've got wizarding supplies coming out our ears. Wands, caudrons, robes and textbooks - as well as the usual fun activities, ice rinks and outdoor theatres! Five Elements, each controlled by an Elemental Master and a Shadow Warrior to form Light. As these ten students and their allies continue their lives at Hogwarts, will they ever be able to truly lead normal existences? With tension bubbling all over the school, rumours flying about at breakneck speed and the dementors and shadow creatures in the forest growing in volume every day, what is the chance that the Order of the Light will succeed in its task to halt Dark Phoenix's growing hold on the realm?
Spies are everywhere, the Hogwarts gossip stream always eager to keep up with the more normal aspects of school life... even if certain events are not quite as normal as they may seem. You cannot trust a stranger, you can barely trust your friends, and as for your allies... well. They're hardly a close-knit bunch with so many different personalities clashing. Then there are your enemies; the Shadow Mage's servants, forever keen to show their allegiance by giving her a tidbit of information. They say even the headmistress cannot be trusted.
So come on in, join the war taking place under everyone's noses. You may lose people you care about; in fact, it's quite likely. But both the Order of the Light and Followers of Dark Phoenix are in need of their numbers growing if either side has any wish to win the Shadow Wars.

| The Kuiper belt is a cold, cold place.
So far out on the edge of the solar system that the sun itself looks like just another star, no measurable amount of heat warms the surface of the tiny asteroid Icelus, or its much larger sibling Morpheus. The two ancient conglomerations of ice and rock exist in a world of perpetual night. The sun's gravity is just barely strong enough at this distance to keep the two asteroids from drifting off into deep space. It is a dark, cold, and most of all, lonely existence. Or at least, it was. How you arrived on Icelus, you can't say for sure. But it appears as though this frozen rock was waiting for your arrival. There are others here now as well, equally lost and confused. Who brought all of you here? What purpose did they have in mind? How do you get home? The questions are troubling, but a quick exploration of your new surroundings reveals a more immediate concern. Unless you learn to work with your fellow abductees, and quickly, not one of you will survive. You have your work cut out for you. We will be officially opening for play on February 1st. Double, double toil and trouble;
Dark omens loom on the horizon. Some say they’re already here. Since May of 2008, the Wizarding World has suffered its fair share of hardships: two murders at the Battle of Hogwarts memorial, poison finding its way into the veins of important officials, and the most recent assassination of the Head of Magical Law Enforcement!

The blood purity group behind these latest terrorist acts is still growing, and the omens don’t just affect the wizarding world. At Hogwarts, too, the ambitious new Headmistress is eager to test out her new weapon, even if it means using her students as test subjects. A werewolf is discovered and expelled, bringing the werewolf rights debate to a boiling point. And a professor’s penchant for Ancient Egyptian artifacts could mean danger for them all.
Double, double toil and trouble
Will the Headmistress's weapon be successful, or will it be discovered before fruition? Will the student werewolf support group regain their reputation and put an end to the discrimination of werewolves, or will they unintentionally start a war? What will the future truly hold? No one knows. All they can do is keep their heads held high, eyes forward and a silent prayer on their lips: "Absit Omen: Let there be no evil here."

Our story begins as 1980 dies, as the final year of the first war against Voldemort is underway. Lord Voldemort and his followers strike fear into the hearts of all. Giants and werewolves serve the Dark Lord, doing his bidding. The Death Eaters roam free, killing Mudbloods, Muggles, and Blood Traitors as they please. Hundreds have died and disappeared. As each day passes, the resistance grows weaker. Voldemort seems to be invincible and all hope is lost. That is until a Prophecy was made; a child with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord will be born as the seventh month dies to those who have thrice defied him and with a power that the Dark Lord will not understand. This child would bring an end to Voldemort’s reign. And so the Dark Lord set out to kill this child before he can grow into a threat. The problem lay in discovering the child, for two couples who had twice defied the Dark Lord were expecting children, both due in July. In order to seek the answer, Lord Voldemort kidnapped the Unspeakable assigned to the Prophecy, assuming that there he would find the truth, but the Dark Lord did not expect Marlene McKinnon to be brave enough to deceive him. How could a child born to either the Potters or the Longbottoms be the supposed Prophecy child when their parents had only defied him twice? And the probability of them doing it a third time was inconceivable, who would be foolish enough to defy the Dark Lord that many times? She insisted that a wizard as great as he was, was foolish to waste his time on the silly words of a false seer; she believed the prophecy was false. With that lie, the children remained momentarily safe with their parents none the wiser to the fate that potentially awaited their children. Until the night of the Autumn Equinox; Halloween, 1980, when Lily and James Potter will once again defy the Dark Lord Voldemort and make the Prophecy a reality. Now the Dark Lord hunts for the couple and their son, his focus distracted from his original goal of ridding the world of those whom he found to be unworthy; all that matters now was his immortality. This leaves room for the resistance to grow stronger. And just as it seems that there is no hope for the Potters to come out of this alive, Alice and Frank Longbottom thrice defy Voldemort, sending them into hiding as well. The fate of the Wizarding World lies in the hands of two small infants and a group of vigilantes working for Dumbledore. How can they stand a chance against Voldemort and all of his forces? |

Exodus is a canon compliant RPG set in the Era of the Marauders, which follows the lives of James and Lily Potter, Frank and Alice Longbottom, the Order of the Phoenix, the Dark Lord Voldemort, and his Death Eaters during the final year of the war. The end of this story is well known, but how they get there is all up to you.
