Premise Available Rules Apply Character Directory Player Directory Friending Button Credit It’s supposed to be the golden age of England. Harriet Jones leading the way. But she isn’t. Rumors of her ill health have made the citizens uneasy. In comes the man of the hour, Harold Saxon. He’s brilliant, charming and just so… good. The world looks to him to take a larger role in politics. And he’s not one to disappoint. He’s running for Prime Minister and most everyone are just counting the days. Those few who aren’t enthralled with his amazing greatness are too few to really matter. Everyone knows who will win the election and Harold Saxon promises he will change the world. Welcome to Year of Paradox. The game will start as Saxon is running for Prime Minister. His winning the election is fixed (will happen in game) as is his taking over the Earth. Anything after that is free form. The implementation of the paradox machine will make unexpected ripples, affecting the rift in Cardiff in an unusual way. As such the rift will be bringing through people two months before the activation of the paradox and a month or so after the activation. There will be no new arrivals after two months after the activation of paradox. New characters from other places may be brought in game but they would have been ‘off screen’ and on the Earth during that time. This tear in the rift means that people can bring in characters from realities other than Doctor Who or Torchwood. They can even bring in future characters and OC’s. However, we will be limiting the genre’s involved. This is mostly so we can make sure that the feeling of the game remains. No character should be able to easily deal with the Toclafane. They are the major threat in the game and should be dealt with as such. WE have a tentative listing of genre’s but if you want to play someone from one not listed, contact a mod with some information on the genre and we will consider whether or not the character will be allowed. This game is a dark adult RPG. There will be death, violence and other adult concepts. While some posts may be lighthearted, we ask that any R posts be friend-locked. Also, as mentioned there will be death, a lot of death. Your character may die, especially high risk characters (IE Torchwood, or people the master is looking for.) and characters that engage in high risk behavior. (IE attacking the Toclafane, being known for going against the Master) Also we ask that everyone consider making a character that they know will die. (Especially for the huge 10% death attack). It would be nice to have characters that other characters actually care about die in the game. We are going for a realistic dark world under the control of the Master and his Toclafane. Gotham: Year One is a pan-fandom, post-cataclysmic Gotham roleplaying game. The DC Universe provides the backdrop for the game, but characters played in the game may come from any established fictional canon source -- comics, anime, books, films, television, et cetera. After the opening plot cataclysm, characters appear in the city through unstable wormholes, and the focus of the game is rebuilding, stone by stone and person by person amidst the turmoil of the cut-off and broken-down city, and trying to get out.

The mods provide a broad canvas and unrolling storyline for the city amidst which players are encouraged to generate their own plots as well as participate in larger plot movements.

Upon the table is a device, similar to that of a PDA. Closer inspection reveals your name inscribed upon the back below an insignia the likes of which you have never seen. The device is on. On the screen is a note, written in your native tongue. Once the letter is finished, it disappears and in its place is a map leading you to your assigned housing. The door to the room opens at this time and a computerized voice tells you to exit. The corridor is long and narrow. It deposits you out onto an unfamiliar street. The city is large, the architecture foreign. The door behind you closes and you are left alone. Feel free to explore. You cannot leave the city but all of your needs will be met. Anything you can want, within reason, can be found here. The locals are mostly friendly and compassionate. Their duty is to make your stay here a comfortable one. After all, you are their guest. Darkness Awaits is a Mature Non-Canon Anita Blake RPG. The location of the City is in busy Washington DC. We all think of the congressmen as Blood Suckers, but what would we do if they really knew who ran this country?

It's the year 2009. With the changes in the human world, so changed the Master of the City. So with the election of a new president came a new Master (despite the election being a little... different). This vampire had been a playboy for over 900 years and now it seems is the time for him to settle down. Time for him to become more serious about the comings and goings of the City, his kindred vampires and fellow preternatural creatures. Armand has high hopes that along with his Animal Servant he will rule the city and create a secure powerbase in his own right.

At the same time the wolves defy tradition and the Ulfric they have had for the last five years, shocks throughout the world. The Ulfric of the Ragnarök Varou Clan is female. At first it seemed her life was going well as a new male entered her life, possibly destined to become the Lupa of the pack. But he disappeared and the Ulfric's heart was shattered. She has now become a more ruthless person, a more caring, yet controlling leader and there is no man that can change her from what she is.

As with the vampires, the felines had received new leaders and the alliance between the Dei Sanguini Lions and the pard looks to be quite rewarding on either end. Both leaders are strong in their own right, separate worlds but similar goals. The African cats look to make the clans larger, stronger and feel at home. Nothing can go wrong. Right?

The Waijiao Shouwan Streak of tigers is different from others around the world. Although they are lead by a beautiful white tigress Chang, she is willing to accept tigers of other colours to her. With tiger royalty running in her blood, she has no time for games and seeks to make her Streak's name rise. No one will dare mess with the Waijiao Shouwan and no one will dare mess with their queen.

This city is not like one you have visited before. There is darkness lurking in the shadows, ready to pounce when you least expect it. How will the world react when they find out that new laws are being made; old laws broken, bent and shifted? What will they say when suddenly vampires, witches, wizards, fae and lycanthropes now have a seat in congress? Yes... we can make decisions too now.

On October 31st, 1999, a group of eco-terrorists released a biological weapon at every major airport in the world. The first level of infection was direct inhalation within 100 yards. The infected become sick with flu-like symptoms. 48 hours later, the true nature of the weapon became clear. The infected became violent, infecting others through bites and scratches. 50 hours after the first contagion was released, governments across the globe initiated states of emergency. Sites were designated as shelters with troops and Aurors sent to protect those sites at all costs.

Radio broadcasts gave the locations of the Ministry of Magic and Buckingham Palace as 'safe spots' but they were really processing centers screening out the infected and sending the uninfected via the Floo network to hidden shelters. Those lucky enough to find shelter must now wait it out – the 28 long days for the infected to starve to death or kill each other in their madness. Then they will have the unenviable task of rebuilding society and the world.

Each group has to go through their own set of hell with the newfound light that has been shed upon them. A war between the supernatural and the natural. The clock ticks as the end is getting closer, heaven and hell will colide and Lucifer himself will be let loose aupon the earth. Angels and Demons will fight, a fight between good and evil blood will be shed in Chicago Illinois.
