After having gone missing for decades, the phantom thief Kaito Kid is back and his heists have become more spectacular than ever! Of course, that’s all in civilians minds. The police force has found the phantom thief to be troublesome, as no one can catch him and he seems to enjoy making a mockery out of them! It also doesn’t help that this seems to be a favorite topic in the media, save for the high school detectives that have been aiding the police lately.
Kudo Shinichi is said to be the modern day Sherlock Holmes, and solving cases has become his lifestyle choice. He’s even being called the “pride of the police force” and Inspector Megure seems to enjoy it when he’s out there solving cases. But when Shinichi visits Tropical Land while on a date with his childhood sweetheart, Mouri Ran, he finds himself involved in a blackmailing case shortly after a murder was committed. The case, involving the malicious Black Organization was completed as before Shinichi could do anything, he was discovered by the mobsters that go under the codenames of Gin and Vodka. He’s force-fed an experimental poison called the APTX-4869, and he becomes unconscious! When he wakes up, he finds himself to no longer be in the body of a high school student, but in the body of an elementary school student!
He’s forced to live with Mouri Ran and her father, Mouri Kogoro, an incompetent detective, under the pseudonym of Edogawa Conan. Thanks to his help though, Ran’s father has become a renowned detective, and with each case solved its one step closer to the organization that shrunk his body! Not to mention, under this pseudonym he seems to find himself battling against Kaito Kid and solving his own cases alongside the Detective Boys group.
With Kaito Kid and the Black Organization secretly lurking in the shadows, Japan is no longer safe. Kaito Kid may not be a threat or intend on harming civilians, but the Black Organization certainly does intend to. Their organization is global, and barely anyone knows about them! Well, save for the FBI and CIA. They’re aiming to infiltrate and destroy the organization from the inside, but it sure doesn’t help that civilians and the Japanese police are unaware that this is all happening. Not to mention, with them as a threat now, there might come a time where YOU might find yourself dead the next day.
It’s simple, really. Live your life as you normally would, and make sure that you remain cautious of those dressed in black with coldblooded personalities. But the number one rule here? Don’t dial the number that resembles Nanatsu no Ko on your phone. It might lead to the end of you!
From murder cases to everyday living, MYSTERIOUS is a play-by-post intermediate to advance Detective Conan and Magic Kaito RPG where no knowledge is required to participate. We accept canons and originals, and we use the basic storyline of both series as our storyline and we are completely character and player driven. Plots, murders and events are created by our members, and there’s room for characters of any age, occupation, nationality and allegiance here. Celebrities are used as our face claims instead of animated, but they are not mandatory. We do however; require a minimum word count of 250 words per post. We’re also self-hosted, using MyBB (an almost exact equivalent to Invisionfree) as our forum provider and we have an informative website to host our game information. But in a game that revolves around Sherlock Holmes styled murder cases, do you think you can survive?

William McKinley High School. In 1993, the Glee Club had just won Nationals. They had the world at their feet. They ruled the school. They couldn't have been considered cooler.
But now, it's 2010 and though they've won Sectionals, .it's been a long time since the Glee Club was considered anything close to "cool." Now they're the bottom of the heap, the misfits of the school. No one has faith in them at all...but one man: Spanish teacher, Will Schuester. He basked in the glow of the '93 Glee Club and wants to return it to its former glory. Unfortunately, there are dark forces plotting against this grand scheme...namely, cheerleaders. Will the "gleeks" triumph or crash and burn? Only time will tell...
New Directions is the oldest Glee RPG on IJ and has been open for play since September. We've still got some canon characters open, and also accept OCs (students, teachers, anything that you can think of to fit in the setting.) The application is fairly simple. We're a friendly, active group and hope to find more people to join the fun!
Feel the Magic Since the beginning of time the creatures of magic have been awed, wanted, and hunted down. Religions fade and fall. Fears grow and abate. The beings of this world change, grow, and they adapt. Lost in the world grander than its dreams, a small town beckons you. Its name is Crystal Falls, nestled in the middle of one of the largest lakes of the south. The only way in is through boat or flight. There are others here like you. They live normal lives, adapting their ways as you have had to do to survive with your freedom. You wonder how many of them know. You wonder just how long you all have until the fear grows, questions go unanswered, and the hunts begin. You wonder if the humans will be able to stay, as some wish to keep the island for the mythical creatures only. For now, this town is safe, a haven for the mystical creatures of lore. They welcome you with open arms. Most are friendly like no other place in the world. More are coming, drawn to the power already here in this enchanted land, and by the powers of the ones long settled here. The promise of protection, friendship, family, normalcy, whatever it is you want out of your life is here and now. How long will it last? Who can you trust? Welcome to Mystic Realm. |

Ever feel like the world's just got you down? That it's bigger than you really think? That there really might be blood-thirsty monsters on your tail? That those teachers just don't understand that you can ace a mythology test but still fail English? Well, kid, you're in the right place. Welcome to Cabin Eleven, a 'dressing room' style RP for Percy Jackson & the Olympians. Named after the infamously welcoming summer habitat of Hermes' half-blood offspring, the community is intended for those who don't want to have to deal with the stress of activity checks, taken-character lists, or application processes (though we're not stopping you). Here at Camp Half-Blood we don't sort you with any silly singing hat, you sort yourselves (because lets face it--your parents might not be up to it). We accept both book and film canons, the various greek deities, and canon!original characters. Feel free to use the community as a springboard for new characters, or even a crack-filled free-for-all. We're pretty chill here. Just please keep in mind that not only are some characters going to be pulled in from other games, but that we may have several mirrors--which is most of the fun of it! Also, while we're pretty accepting here in Cabin Eleven of all sorts of various shenanigans, keep all that lovey-dovey stuff in Cabin Ten. They're better at dealing with the mess of broken hearts. Five Elements, each controlled by an Elemental Master and a Shadow Warrior to form Light. As these ten students and their allies continue their lives at Hogwarts, will they ever be able to truly lead normal existences? With tension bubbling all over the school, rumours flying about at breakneck speed and the dementors and shadow creatures in the forest growing in volume every day, what is the chance that the Order of the Light will succeed in its task to halt Dark Phoenix's growing hold on the realm?
Spies are everywhere, the Hogwarts gossip stream always eager to keep up with the more normal aspects of school life... even if certain events are not quite as normal as they may seem. You cannot trust a stranger, you can barely trust your friends, and as for your allies... well. They're hardly a close-knit bunch with so many different personalities clashing. Then there are your enemies; the Shadow Mage's servants, forever keen to show their allegiance by giving her a tidbit of information. They say even the headmistress cannot be trusted.
So come on in, join the war taking place under everyone's noses. You may lose people you care about; in fact, it's quite likely. But both the Order of the Light and Followers of Dark Phoenix are in need of their numbers growing if either side has any wish to win the Shadow Wars.

With Blackwood's 'magic' finally unveiled and Sherlock Holmes on the trail of Professor Moriarty and the piece of Blackwood's machine that he took things seemed to have more or less clicked into place once more. Irene Adler's in police custody and Watson's moved in Mary - the date of their wedding has finally been set and much to Sherlock's dismay is fast approaching. However he seemed less than willing to go through with it, something that Holmes picks up on and realizes that his obsession over Watson, which had only been growing in intensity since he'd moved out of Baker Street, might not be totally unrequited. In the end, Watson breaks the engagement with Mary off, in favor of returning to Holmes with both surprises and pleases Sherlock. Yet even though they both know there's something there, neither is able to say anything upon it.
This frustration it seems, begin to bleed over into everything they're doing and eventually a huge fight ends up being blown out of proportions and ends with the arrival of Ember Watson, John's daughter from his first marriage. He leaves with Ember, giving Holmes a week to think over things before he'd come back to Baker street. All might have gone well if Holmes, during that week hadn't received a 'In over your head Irene' letter in which she desperately asked for his help. Unable to say no to Irene, and having clearly missed her since he'd last seen her, Holmes set out to meet Irene, intending on only being gone a couple days as the case seemed easy. However upon meeting up with Irene, he realized that the case was no at all so black and white as he originally thought and when things gets hairy, Holmes ends up faking his own death as to allow him a way to slip off the radar and get deeper down the rabbit hole.
However his 'death' has unforeseeable consequences, especially when a new terror takes hold of London.
